Down the rabbit hole

This Sunday, Oh boy, I did it... I got to dress up and go to a Tea Party. With school and work and rehearsals and all the rest around I had to put aside my sprouting love for the lolita fashion.
Now that I am gratuated and doesn't have much to do at the moment and (most important) have a bit of money, I said "Screw it, I want it for such a long, now I get it !"
Sooo, this sunday was my first Tea party after a very very long time (my first one was for the Tea Party Club anniversary two years ago).

Dimanche dernier, enfin, je l'ai fait ... Je me suis toute bien habillée et je suis allée à une Tea Party. Avec l'école, le travail, les répétitions et tout le reste, j'ai du mettre de côté mon amour naissant pour le Lolita.
Maintenant que j'ai fini l'école, que je ne fais pas grand chose pour le moment et que surtout (le plus important) j'ai un peu d'argent, je me suis "Zut ! Je veux le faire depuis si longtemps, c'est maintenant ou jamais!"
Donc, ce dimanche je suis allée à ma première Tea Party (ma vraie première Tea Party était il y a deux ans pour l'anniversaire du Tea Party Club à Londres).

For my outfit, nothing extravagant, I didn't get to buy a brand dress to kind of make up for it I did my headress, the fake collar and two little brooches of Alice and the White Rabbit.

Pour ma tenue rien d'extraordinaire, je n'ai pas pu me procurer une robe de marque donc pour rendre la tenue intéressante j'ai fait le headress, le faux col et deux petites broches Alice et le Lapin Blanc.

 

The little café we went to for the Tea Party was a lovely place called "Bake-a-Boo" in West Hampstead, it's a bit in the middle of nowhere, out of the shoppings street, we had to walk quite a bit to get there, but once we were there no regret at all for the feet...

bake-a-boo.com  this is the website of the place. It is a really girly-sweet-baby-pink-and-sparkles tea shop, a cute hide out from the everyday stress and violence.

Le petit café où nous sommes allé pour la Tea Party était un adorable salon de thé au doux nom de "Bake-a-Boo" à West H§ampstead, c'est un peu au milieu de nul part, loin des rues marchandes. Nous avons à marcher un peu, mais une foix là bas plus de regret pour les pieds douloureux...

bake-a-boo.com voilà leur site internet. C'est vraiment un salon très féminin-rose-bébé-et-paillettes, une jolie cachette loin du stress et de la violence quotidienne.

We had three cupcake towers of scones, mini sandwiches and various cakes. So much wheat, I though my stomach was going to exploded and so much sugar I though I wouldn't be able to sleep this night, but such good foods. All handbaked. And the teas were lovely, incredibly tasty. We could have as much tea as we wanted. I tried the winter tea and had to help digest for later some green tea.
They have a really impressive collection of porcelaine tea cups and saucers.

The guests at the Tea Party were all really lovely ladies. I was delighted to be there seating, dressed up, having tea and chatting about clothes, japanese hamsters and cats.
I had a really good and light atmosphered afternoon with lots of cuties.

Il y avait trois de ces tours (présentoirs) à cupcakes avec des scones, sandwich miniatures et autres gâteaux. Tellement de gateaux et de farine, j'ai bien que mon estomac allait exploser et tellement de sucre que je ne pensais pas pouvoir m'endormir ce soir là. Mais tout était fait main et succulent. Les thés étaient délicieux, nous pouvions en avoir autant que nous voulions. J'ai choisi le thé d'hiver et pour aider la digestion à la fin du thé vert.
Ce salon de thé à une collection incroyable de tasse à thé et petite assiette en porcelaine.

 Les autres invités de la Tea party étaient toutes plus adorables les unes que les autres. J'étais heureuse assise là, bien habillée parlant de fringues, hamster japonais et de chats. 
J'ai passé un très bon après midi dans une atmosphère légère et pleine de délicatesse.

I will surely and certainely get to attempt another of these meetings, and get to make more lovely lolita comparses like I did this past sunday.

Je vais surement et très certainement aller à d'autres de ces rencontres et me faire plus de comparses lolita comme je l'ai fait ce dimanche dernier.
